Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the full Finance Operations function across all mining sites
Drive financial governance, compliance, audit readiness, and internal control frameworks
Optimise financial processes, reporting structures, and costâmanagement initiatives
Partner with Operations and Executive Leadership to support data-driven decision-making and performance optimisation
Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across various operational environments

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education

CA(SA) – Non-negotiable

Experience

Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Strong background in mining, metals, or heavy industry
Proven operational finance expertise, including cost management, financial reporting, and multi-site management
Strong financial governance and compliance exposure
Experience driving process improvement and digital finance transformation

Skills

Proficient in ERP systems (SAP or similar)
Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management capability
Ability to operate in complex, fast-paced environments

Other Non-Negotiables

Must have mining sector experience
Must be willing to travel to operational sites as required
