Our client in the fintech industry is looking for a Head of Finance to join the team. You are someone that enjoys building structure and sorting our problems and getting stuck in. POSITION INFO:

The Head of Finance will be responsible for end-to-end financial operations, compliance and financial planning. The role spans multi-entity group structuring, treasury, audits, forecasting, and operations of numerous African jurisdictions.
Own all forecasting and financial models for revenue, cost, liquidity, funding, and unit economics across stable-coin flows
Produce insights dashboards and IFRS-aligned reporting to support decision-making
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including reconciliations, revenue and balance control reviews, and month-end close.
Manage reporting to the Group, including consolidation support, performance updates, scenario planning, and governance
Own working capital strategy, liquidity planning, and operational cash and asset management for multi-currency settlement flows.
Ensure FX management, crypto-to-fiat conversion economics, and counterparty risk frameworks are robust.
Ensure full compliance with tax regimes across African countries of operation, as well as group-level tax planning and structuring requirements
Partner with engineering on productisation of financial flows, internal tools, reporting automation, and ledger architecture
Build and lead a growing finance team across treasury / operations and accounting. Establish a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and upskill team members in a complex, rapidly evolving multi-country environment.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience with 5 years in leadership
Deep familiarity with African regulatory environments
Crypto experience or strong knowledge

CA(SA) non-negotiable
