An exciting leadership opportunity within a rapidly scaling fintech business transforming cross-border payments across Africa. Lead financial strategy, treasury, reporting, compliance, and operational finance in a dynamic, regulated environment at the forefront of digital asset innovation.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Lead end-to-end financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning Own forecasting models covering revenue, costs, liquidity, funding, and unit economics Deliver IFRS-aligned reporting, financial insights, and strategic analysis to support decision-making Oversee accounting operations, month-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls Manage treasury, working capital, liquidity planning, and multi-currency settlement flows Lead annual audits and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements across multiple African jurisdictions Partner with legal, compliance, engineering, operations, and commercial teams to drive growth and innovation Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Skills & Experience: Minimum 10+ years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role Proven experience within fintech, payments, crypto, financial services, or cross-border settlements Strong expertise in treasury, financial reporting, forecasting, tax, compliance, and audit management Deep understanding of African regulatory environments, FX markets, and multi-entity operations Exceptional analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills Experience building scalable financial processes, controls, dashboards, and operational frameworks Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent professional qualification.
