SUMMARY:
An internationally recognised FMCG brand has a position for a senior supply chain professional as Head of the Freight Desk in Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:
Core experience of 10+ years’ in imports/exports and international logistics, as well as knowledge of international shipping markets, clearing and forwarding, planning and FMCG sector logistics, is essential.

Potential candidates should also meet the following academic requirements: a degree in logistics/international trade, or similar; and computer literacy in MS Office and ERP software.

In this role the successful incumbent will be responsible for the management, performance and results of the freight desk, including the use of GTS software to manage all imports and exports (± 8000 containers per annum).
