Head of Information and Data (Information Systems) Introduction Harmony Gold Mining Company is recruiting a Head of Information and Data to lead the organisation's data strategy and unlock the value of its data assets. This role drives innovation through advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning while ensuring strong governance, data quality, and compliance across the enterprise. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred). Minimum 5+ years' senior leadership experience in data management, analytics, and AI\/ML initiatives. Deep expertise in: Data architecture and cloud computing. Machine learning and AI implementation. Data governance and data privacy regulations. Experience in mining or natural resources industry (advantageous) . Job Description Summary Develop and implement the enterprise data strategy and governance framework. Define data architecture standards for hybrid cloud and hosted environments. Lead deployment of AI and ML solutions to generate insights from data. Build and lead teams of data scientists, engineers, analysts, and architects. Establish advanced analytics and data visualisation capabilities. Manage enterprise data lifecycle, quality, and integration processes. Ensure data availability, integrity, compliance, and operational reliability. Drive data-driven decision-making culture across the organisation. Deliver accurate reporting for governance forums and stakeholders.
