JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:
This role is for a Head of Internal Auditor for a prominent Bank
The client is looking for an individual with extensive auditing experience in a financial institution. Your role will be to head and lead the entire internal audit department that operates within other countries. The successful candidate will be expected to enhance the bank’s internal control and risk and governance processes. It will be essential understand anti-money laundering aspects and the Bank’s Act.
Duties:

Stakeholder engagement
Draft and deliver annual internal audit plans
Attend committee meetings
Conduct reviews and draft action plans
Improve institutions operations
Auditing internal controls and governance/compliance
Reviewing and mitigating potential risk

Qualifications:

Completed Honors in a relevant BCom degree,
A completed CIA is non-negotiable.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years Internal Audit experience, 5 years of which should be in a management position.
Experience with the Bank’s Act.
