Our client, a dynamic and expanding group, is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to take ownership of the full financial function across multiple entities. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and provide strategic direction to support business growth. You will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, managing risk, and enhancing operational efficiencies across the group. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the financial performance of the group, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Oversee treasury, cash flow management, and currency hedging strategies
Ensure compliance with IFRS, taxation regulations, and audit requirements across all entities
Drive cost optimisation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency
Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
Oversee audits, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making
Manage stakeholder relationships including auditors, clients, suppliers, and internal leadership

Job Experience & Skills Required

Education:

Matric (essential)
Qualified CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA (non-negotiable)

Experience:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior finance/management role
Proven experience managing multiple entities or group structures
Strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and treasury management

Skills:

Advanced MS Office skills
Experience with Syspro (advantageous)
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines
