Duties:

Provide strategic direction, manage, and execute the Internal Audit Activity.
Coordinate specific processes to support the implementation and execution of the Audit Plan
Presenting audit findings and recommendations and providing assurance of compliance with statutory requirements, policies, and procedures in line with Internal Audit Standards and the business policies and procedures
Apply a risk-based approach to the rollout of Internal Audit activities
Lead the Forensics team, providing strategic guidance on how to best support the business
To investigate and action (where applicable) any perpetrations
Educate the business on the correct policies and procedures to mitigate fraud risk
To protect the business against any fraudulent activity posed across all channels and claims
Responsible for all quality and forensic related investigations that may pose a business risk and provide accurate feedback to relevant department
Support Data Security Manager in preventing and detecting cyber threats

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Honours degree in Internal Auditing
Completed CIA

Experience:

6-8 years’ experience within an internal audit/forensic investigation environment
Experience gained from the Big 4 firms
Experience within an insurance industry is a MUST!
Forensic services are critical!
