A prestigious asset management firm is on the hunt for a visionary Head of Investment Management to drive strategy and performance across its dynamic investment portfolio. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned leader to take the reins of a high-impact division responsible for strategic, unlisted investments spanning multiple sectors.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in investment management, a proven track record in value creation, and the leadership acumen to steer a top-tier team of professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Investment Management division
• Oversee portfolio management and value creation activities across unlisted investments
• Formulate and implement investment strategies, including exit planning
• Manage stakeholder relationships across the public and private sector
• Ensure alignment with enterprise risk, compliance, and reporting standards
• Lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary investment team
• Drive innovation and excellence in investment processes and deal-making
• Champion cross-functional collaboration and performance

Key Requirements

• Honours degree in finance, engineering, law, or relevant commerce/science field
• Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong background in corporate finance, private equity, management consulting, and investment strategy
• Proven track record in portfolio management and value creation
• Deep expertise in deal structuring, mergers & acquisitions, and investment execution
• FAIS Representative designation
• Postgraduate qualifications (CFA, MBA, MSc, CA, MFI or equivalent) preferred
