We are an exciting SaaS start-up business and are in the process of developing a digital solution that wants to change the way an entire industry does business, with the focus on sustainability and positive impact.

Given our progressive growth plans, we need a talented, experiences, and visionary Head of Marketing, Communications and PR who will spearhead the businessâ??s evolution to a true storytelling brand. The role will be pivotal in the development of a brand communications strategy to successfully articulate our brand purpose and differentiate our offering using traditional and experiential/inbound marketing channels. You''ll also own the business''s communications strategy and be responsible for the delivery of the content and PR plans while also managing delivery and measured success of the tactics/campaigns.

This role requires somebody who can effectively and seamlessly switch between long-term strategy and short-term tactics as required, with flawless attention to detail and high level of execution. As a high growth company on a steep upward trajectory, constant innovation, progress, and forward-momentum at pace is essential

You will be a key member of the management team, developing and implementing marketing strategies which will strengthen the businesses position in the marketplace, building sustainable growth at a global scale.

Skills and Experience:

Essential Experience:

  • Highly experienced brand marketer with 10+ yearsâ?? experience
  • A track record of successfully scaling marketing teams
  • Proven success in building strong cross departmental teams
  • In-depth experience at managing paid, earned, and owned marketing channels
  • Hands-on experience at driving growth within B2B and B2C businesses
  • A track record of developing campaigns that have delivered real business growth

Essential Qualification:

  • Business or Marketing degree or equivalent qualifications preferable

Other:

  • You will have experience in brand and content marketing strategies and the use all of channels for distribution to reach various markets
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing tactics
  • Lead generation, acquisition and retention experience
  • Experience in managing budgets and delivering on tight timelines
  • Experience using automation and analytics tools
  • Good team experience - a track record of managing and developing teams to deliver brilliant impactful campaigns through true collaboration

Beneficial: 

  • Experience of working with a high growth or scaling SaaS business is advantageous
  • Travel and/or sustainability sector experience would be advantageous but not required
Key Accountabilities:

Responsibilities

  • Develop a stand-out and highly effective communications strategy that delivers on our brand vision, purpose and leveraging our values and can be amplified across our paid, owned and earned media.
  • Grow brand awareness and salience with new identified target audiences and drive greater brand affinity with a robust content plan.
  • Increasing cost effective client acquisition and improving retention. Own the overarching departmental annual marketing and communications planning process and ensure it is aligned across channels and functions as well as to the business''s strategy and trading requirements.
  • Work with the other marketing functions - creative, content and digital to develop impactful, on brand marketing campaigns aligned to the business''s brand strategy.
  • Continually strive to deliver clear and understood brand proposition, that it stands out vs. the competition and stays relevant. Ensure it is also clearly understood by all internal stakeholders.
  • Create and develop an impactful and valuable partnerships strategy to endorse our brand positioning, increase brand awareness, to drive commercial targets and to provide high value for our users.
  • Ensure that brand integrity is maintained and salience improved through the right sponsorship''s, collaborations, innovative partnerships and strategic alliances.
  • Deepen customer value and make value proposition more appealing to users by developing a strong and inclusive proposition through delivering an enhanced user experience, aligned both on and offline.
  • Plan strategic PR, influencer and social media campaigns and partnership events and lead the messaging framework for target audiences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners (trade) and agencies (PR, and other). You will be required to attend industry events, speak on panels/workshops and/or press events and be representative of our brand and what we aim to achieve.
  • Develop a framework and plan to deliver truly innovative and engaging events programmes to drive increased engagement with and affinity for our brand.
  • Lead the digital presence and distribution channels (SEO, PPC, Email and Social etc.)
  • Manage the execution of the companyâ??s social media strategy
  • Work closely with the Sales Team; enabling them to meet their objectives and providing their required sales collateral/content
  • Work closely with the Product Team; to define marketing strategies for new and existing products and features
