Position Overview:

A reputable multinational healthcare company that operates in IVD Devices and Medical Diagnostics has an exciting vacancy available for a Head of Medical Affairs.

The responsibility of the Head of Medical Affairs will be to develop, lead, and implement the medical strategy to increase patient benefit, contributing to the Company’s vision of Health for Every African. The Head of Medical Affairs is responsible to increase awareness, education, and usage of diagnostics as a pivotal part of the patient journey, leads the medical affairs team, leads specific cross-functional projects, and supports teams and functions to reach their goals strengthening the company reputation and impact in ZA & sSA.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed NQF 7/8 qualification in a science related field
• Minimum 10 Years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
• Minimum 8 Years’ Management experience is essential
• Minimum 2 Years’ Executive Management experience is required
• Minimum 2 Years’ Strategic Management experience
• Pharmaceutical/Diagnostic industry knowledge, including regulations, is essential
• Commercial business management experience
• Must be willing to travel nationally and internationally
