Head of Operations

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering industry has a position available for the Head of Business whose main focus will be to Plan, control, and manage Staff, Processes and Systems related to Business Operations.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 15 years working experience in an operations / fabrication / production environment
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience leading a production team in a mid-size business
• Management
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Ability to coach team members in-house and in-field
  • In depth understanding of managing and motivating a team
• Technical
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Ability understand and implement technical specifications
  • Excellent understanding of production processes
  • Excellent understanding of key measurement and metrics which drive On Time, In Full, Always Safely.
  • Ability to analyse production and make improvements
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Internet Browser) and STRUMIS (Strumis can be trained)

• Production Management (Detailing, CNC, Fabrication, W&C, Dispatch)
