Overview:
A leading, fast-growing organisation is seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of People to lead and evolve its People & Culture function. This senior role is critical to shaping the organisation's culture, driving world-class HR strategies, and ensuring an outstanding employee experience as the business scales globally. The position reports directly to the CEO and works closely with senior leadership to implement initiatives that attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• People Strategy & Culture Development: Design and execute a people strategy aligned with business growth objectives, aiming to position the organisation as an employer of choice

• Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Partner with leadership to attract and retain high-calibre talent, ensuring the right capabilities are in place to drive success

• Employee Experience & Engagement: Champion a people-first culture that prioritises employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being

• Leadership & Talent Development: Develop and implement leadership programmes and career development initiatives across all levels of the organisation

• HR Operations & Compliance: Oversee HR policies, benefits, compensation, and compliance with employment laws, locally and across global locations

• Performance & Reward Management: Design and manage fair, transparent, and competitive performance and reward structures

• Change Management & Organisational Development: Lead transformation initiatives that encourage agility, innovation, and collaboration

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in HR leadership roles, ideally within a high-growth or global environment

• Strong track record in developing and executing people strategies aligned with business goals

• Deep understanding of South African labour laws with exposure to international HR practices

• Skilled in building and leading high-performing teams and supporting senior leadership through coaching and mentorship

• Passion for culture-building and enhancing organisational effectiveness

• Data-driven decision-making approach with a hands-on, proactive mindset

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
