SUMMARY:
Head up the Group Forestry planning function, planning and overseeing technical foresters and their teams for our client: an integrated forest and land stewardship company

POSITION INFO:

Degree in Forestry management (B.Sc or B.Tech forestry),
Trained in the use of ArcGIS, MicroForest and Trimble software packages.
3+ years MIN as a Planning Manager
Knowledge and practical experience of forestry operations and management, specifically
- Forestry Planning
- Silviculture
- Harvesting
- FSC
Knowledge and proven experience of forest planning skills including:
- Mensuration
- Growth and Yield
- Mapping ~ GPS data collection
- Research trials
- BAV compilation
Financial and people management skills.
MS Office suite, MicroForest, ArcGIS & Trimble software.
Report writing skills and have an advanced technical working knowledge of English.
