POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance pricing models for short-term insurance products
• Analyze insurance datasets to improve pricing accuracy
• Contribute to model validation frameworks and ensure actuarial rigor
• Support client implementation projects and provide technical expertise
• Stay up to date with regulatory developments and industry trends
• Document methodologies and prepare materials for client presentations

• Education: Nearly or newly qualified Actuary (ASSA)
• Experience: Prior experience in short-term insurance pricing is essential
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of actuarial principles and statistical methods
• Familiarity with traditional pricing techniques (e.g., GLMs)
• Proficiency in R, Python, or similar programming language
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Interest in AI and machine learning applications in insurance
• Preferred:
• Experience with machine learning techniques and data visualization
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for insurance pricing models
• Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms
