My client is a fast-growing actuarial technology and consulting company transforming non-life (P&C) insurance pricing through advanced AI-powered software solutions. Founded by leading actuarial experts, they combine deep technical knowledge with innovative technology to deliver pricing models that are accurate, explainable, and regulator-friendly.

I am looking for an Actuarial Pricing Analyst to help drive this mission forward. If you’re passionate about using your actuarial skills to solve complex problems in new and innovative ways, this is your chance to make a tangible impact.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance pricing models for short-term insurance products
Analyze insurance datasets to improve pricing accuracy
Contribute to model validation frameworks and ensure actuarial rigor
Support client implementation projects and provide technical expertise
Stay up to date with regulatory developments and industry trends
Document methodologies and prepare materials for client presentations

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: Nearly or newly qualified Actuary (ASSA)
Experience: Prior experience in short-term insurance pricing is essential
Skills:

Strong understanding of actuarial principles and statistical methods
Familiarity with traditional pricing techniques (e.g., GLMs)
Proficiency in R, Python, or similar programming language
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Interest in AI and machine learning applications in insurance

Preferred:

Experience with machine learning techniques and data visualization
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for insurance pricing models
Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms
