Head of Procurement

SUMMARY:
A reputable and leading company in the food and hospitality industry is seeking a Head of Procurement to join their executive team.

POSITION INFO:
This role is ideal for a strategic and results-driven individual, with strong leadership skills and extensive procurement experience, to oversee sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization for a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team to achieve operational excellence.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality products.
• Oversee contract management, supplier performance, and compliance with all procurement policies.
• Drive innovation and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
• Analyze market trends and implement strategies to mitigate supply risks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, and logistics) to streamline procurement processes.
• Ensure the consistent availability of goods while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing costs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s Degree advantageous).
• Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations and cost reduction strategies.
• Experience in the food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Office skills.
