Head of Product (Credit Solutions)

SUMMARY:
Our client is one of the largest locally owned credit information bureau in South Africa, looking for a Head of Product with similar industry experience in credit solutions.

POSITION INFO:

They provide an economical Trace search to assist in tracking down an individual for one of the following reasons: Tracing by a Credit Provider/Agent. Fraud, Corruption, or Theft Investigation. Fraud Detection and Fraud Prevention.

They also provide credit reports and score

One of the core responsibilities will be to manage Tracing agents and Debt collectors to update contact databases or have the need to trace and find consumers and debtors who have defaulted on payments and are no longer available at the contact details on hand. 

Looking for someone that has worked in a company that provides a sound consumer tracing system to find consumers that have defaulted on payments.

This person:

• Will be required to form strategic partnerships with the best providers of contiguous products and services.
• Required to analyze the existing customer book using customer segmentation and risk profiling to identify potential new customers, with the right profile, to help companies fulfill their growth ambitions.
• Assist credit providers in improving their efficiency and increasing their profitability.
• Assess existing clients on a periodic basis hence allowing credit providers to assign appropriate credit strategies.
• Assist collection departments to ascertain which delinquent customers have the greatest likelihood of returning to positive payment behavior.
• Provide insights into what is happening across the industry as well as the current standing of a consumer’s book across three stages – acquisitions, current consumers & consumers in the collection.
• Support managing the customer value cycle by assigning appropriate credit strategies such as consumer profiling, profitability modeling, limit increases, contract renewal, and cross-selling/upselling, depending on the need.
