Head Of Credit
Midrand

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for Head of Credit to lead the credit risk function for our payroll deducted debt consolidation loan product, which is underpinned by a proprietary credit scorecard, business rules designed to drive measurable employee financial outcomes and targeted returns (ROE, IRR).
Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related field; postgraduate qualification
7+ years of experience in a credit risk or senior credit analytics role, preferably within:
- Unsecured or payroll-based lending
- Credit scoring model development or validation
- Proven ability to manage performance of a scorecard-based loan product.
Strong experience with credit risk reporting to Exco / Credit Committees.
Familiarity with portfolio ROE, IRR, and lifetime loss forecasting.
Advanced analytical skills (SQL, Python, or similar), with a deep understanding of credit data structures.
