Head of Programs / Public Health Specialist

SUMMARY:
Urgently seeking Specialist who will run the regional office, manage all medical staff and lead the technical design and implementation of HIV/AIDS, Sexual Reproductive Health and related public health services projects. Previous exp working with SA Department of Health structures as well as local and international funders. Master’s degree a must

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Report directly to the COO
• Promote strong technical implementation and program management
• Develop strategic plans based on what funders, government and company requires
• Ensure systems and processes are in place to deliver high quality care and prevention services.
• Write operational protocols for new programmes or extensions of the current ones
• Monitor and evaluate progress toward goals/targets/outcomes
• Provide guidance to all programmes including the development and management of operational procedures
• Quality and Governance - promote and embed a culture of innovation, clinical best practice, quality improvement and measurable outcomes
• Relationship Management
• Work with major international donors such as PEPFAR, USAID, DFID, the Global Fund, BMGF, write grant proposals, control budgets, and give accurate and relevant reporting as required by these entities.
