Head of Property Management

Our client, a leader in the Insurance industry, seeks to employ a Head of Property Management. This role is based in JHB

POSITION INFO:

GROUP REAL ESTATE SERVICES (GRES) - HEAD of PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Accountable for the formulation of Property Portfolio strategy in response to the strategic business goals of each division. This includes management of all property-related transactions and Programme Management and integration into project management activities and the design office. This role ensures commercial viability, effective use of space and alignment with business requirements to deliver the workplace of the future.

A Real Estate Professional with more than 8 years'' experience in similar roles is required. A track record of delivering complex commercial business cases together with multiple or large-scale office renovation programmes is essential.

Duties include.

• To ensure the execution of directives relating to Head office and branch infrastructure and leases in line with and in support of business strategy and requirements
• Perform market rent and benchmarking surveys
• Compile business case motivations for renewals, relocations and new sites
• Compile leasing pack for signatory (commercial and legal summaries, market comparison, business drivers and requirements, market info etc)
• Co-ordinate lease-in process (lease proposals and vetting, business approval and lease signature)
• Monthly reporting and analysis of key metrics, including the status of the directives, leases and lease-related projects
• Interface with 3rd party lease-out tenants on leasing/building matters
• Marketing of vacant space through appropriate channels
• Effective Programme Management of the Project Management Office which includes delivery of all GRES related projects
• Effective Management of the Design Office which includes Space Planning, Design standards and co-development of future-proofed workspaces.
