Head of Quality

CXP is looking for a Head of Quality role. The suitable candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Job responsibilities:

Responsible for all quality, compliance, governance and risk management functions.

Provide strategic guidance in Risk and Compliance to the leadership team.

Keeping abreast of legislative, regulatory and industry developments both globally and local.

Required to formulate and implement a Compliance and Risk framework that supports CXP and our clients.

Deep understanding of the regulatory environment in financial services for both the UK and South Africa.

Support, mentor and lead the Quality team and drive consistency to meet the clients and customers expectations.

Provide oversight in the interpretation and analysis of statutes relevant to the company, the communication of legislative and regulatory changes to the business and the updating of these changes to existing processes, as required.

Minimum Job Requirements (Essential):

• Bachelor of Law Degree or relevant Compliance, Commercial qualification
• 10 to 15 years senior leadership experience within financial services
• A broad understanding of the financial services industry
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, including POPI, GDPR, FAIS, FICA, KYC, RICA, etc.
• Specialist industry expertise
• Proven experience and knowledge in the negotiation and drafting of Service Level agreements
