POSITION INFO:
A leading financial services provider is looking for a technically astute Head of Risk to take the reins on their enterprise-wide risk strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role, perfect for someone with a background in mathematics, statistics, engineering, or actuarial science who understands that behind every model is a mission of sustainable, risk-informed growth.

What You’ll Own:

Design and embed a robust risk management framework across the business
Lead the quantification and modelling of risk across credit, market, operational, and strategic domains
Translate complex risk data into insights that drive executive decision-making
Oversee regulatory compliance, stress testing, risk appetite setting, and scenario analysis
Collaborate with Actuaries, Analysts, and Executives to ensure alignment of risk and business goals
Build and mentor a high-performing risk team that’s both technically capable and commercially aware

What You Bring:

A Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field
8+ years in enterprise or financial risk, with deep technical expertise
Experience with risk modelling, scenario planning, or capital adequacy frameworks
Executive presence and proven ability to engage at the Board level
Bonus: Professional certifications like FRM, CRO, CERA, or similar
