POSITION INFO:
A leading financial services provider is looking for a technically astute Head of Risk to take the reins on their enterprise-wide risk strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role, perfect for someone with a background in mathematics, statistics, engineering, or actuarial science who understands that behind every model is a mission of sustainable, risk-informed growth.

What You’ll Own:

• Design and embed a robust risk management framework across the business
• Lead the quantification and modelling of risk across credit, market, operational, and strategic domains
• Translate complex risk data into insights that drive executive decision-making
• Oversee regulatory compliance, stress testing, risk appetite setting, and scenario analysis
• Collaborate with Actuaries, Analysts, and Executives to ensure alignment of risk and business goals
• Build and mentor a high-performing risk team that’s both technically capable and commercially aware

• A Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field
• 8+ years in enterprise or financial risk, with deep technical expertise
• Experience with risk modelling, scenario planning, or capital adequacy frameworks
• Executive presence and proven ability to engage at the Board level
• Bonus: Professional certifications like FRM, CRO, CERA, or similar
