SUMMARY:
Head of Sales - (Processing / Metallurgy / Chemical) R 65 000.00 to R 85 000.00 TCTC per month Centurion

POSITION INFO:

A Company within the Manufacturing industry, specializing in Industrial Pumping Solutions (water, slurry, centrifugal etc.) is seeking to employ a Head of Sales. 

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12)
• 4-year Degree in Engineering (Processing, Metallurgy, Chemical)
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in related Processing or Engineering Field
• Pump installations and Pumping applications experience will be advantageous
• Work experience in a pump equipment sales environment in the marketing and sales of slurry pumps would be beneficial 

Key responsibilities required for the day-to-day activities include:

• Manage the Sales Representatives
• Drive the execution of the sales plan and strategies
• Provide after-sales support to clients and sales teams
• Build strong client relationships, through regular communication and meetings with your teams in their respective areas
• Be involved with client relationship-building activities and travelling to sites across the continent to meet or introduce to clients the product range
• Report on the status of monthly, weekly sales figures.
• Follow up on quotes submitted with the assistance of the relevant Sales Representatives
• Driving the entire sales process from the first contact until the delivery of the goods
• Reviewing proposals
• Liaising between Technical Sales and External sales for optimal use of our resources
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization on established sites
