We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience:

• A relevant qualification from a recognised institution

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role

• SACE registration is essential

• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing sports department

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Confident, professional engagement with learners, staff, and parents

• A proactive problem-solver with effective leadership and advisory skills

• A passion for coaching and keeping up with modern coaching practices

• A clear criminal record is mandatory

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Daily management and smooth operation of the sports department

• Setting a personal example in professionalism, attendance and conduct

• Building strong relationships with staff and learners

• Fostering a collaborative, positive team culture

• Strategic planning and forward-thinking in sports education

• Enhancing coaching practice within the school

• Promoting the schools'  vision and building community and school partnerships

• Upholding and promoting school policies and values through all activities

• Maintaining high standards in coaching and sports leadership
