SUMMARY:
Our client, a leader in the FMCG sector is seeking a Head of Innovation, you will be responsible for leading the organisation in research for new products, product enhancements and product redesign.

POSITION INFO:

Collaborating with key stakeholders both locally and globally to identify and exploit opportunities for future growth. You will have strong commercial skills and a strong understanding of marketing and branding principles within FMCG industries. Your experience should be from a strategic business or marketing development role, within an FMCG company. You will be joining a team where you can make an impact working on a range of branded platforms, helping to develop a pipeline of products to drive long- term growth.

5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar role within an FMCG or Food Service Industry
Engineering Qualification is a MUST - an Engineer and a Chemist would be ideal
Strong Chemistry background is desired
Significant background of working with consumer and customer insights
Experience in strategic and operational partnering with NPD, R&D and Sales and Marketing
Demonstrated ability to develop repeatable processes or improve existing processes in and out of product development
Project management skills and managing project teams
Comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged
