Head of Working Capital Solutions

SUMMARY:
We are on the hunt for exceptional talent! Our client, one of the largest privately-owned financial institutions in South Africa is looking for a Head of Working Capital Solutions, (WCS) to join their Team. The ideal fit for this role will be a sales-driven individual that is not afraid to hunt for new business and is well connected with an extensive list of contacts they can call on.

POSITION INFO:

Summary:

The Head of WCS will direct the growth and development of the WCS Division, by developing short, medium and long-term strategies while overseeing the activities of sales and operations of the division, ensuring all operations (sales and administration) are properly managed. All with the ultimate goal of ensuring that the Division adds meaningfully to the Growth and Financial wellbeing of the organization and yields return on the equity that is agreed between the shareholders and the division. The position reports to the Group CEO.

Requirements:

• Post graduate  in Finance or equivalent
• Knowledge of Working Capital products, namely: Single Invoice, Full Book Discounting, Trade Finance, Structured Trade, Commodity Finance and Purchase orders

• 10 years’ experience within banking of which 5 years must be in a senior management position.
• Knowledge of advanced reporting
• Ability to strategize and foresee potential problems
• Ability to raise funding
