SUMMARY:
Well known, prestigious hotel in Umhlanga seeks a Supervisor/Manager to oversee security and overall Health and Safety compliance

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

HIRA
OHS
SAMTRAC or NEBOSH
PSIRA - Grade A
Management experience

Duties include but are not limited to:

Critical member of the Hotel's management team
Legislative Compliance
Collaborate with relevant departments to implement safety measures, safety drills and conduct safety training programs
Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to safeguard the hotel, its assets, guests, and employees.
Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff by providing assistance and support during emergency situations
Incident Response and Investigations with regards to Health and Safety as well as Risk and security Budget management
Collaborate with the Front Office/Concierge department to manage the hotel's fleet of vehicles - maintenance, inspections, and ensure compliance with all legal requirements for transportation
Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies, including security plans and emergency response procedures
Monitor security operations and maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems and access control systems, ensuring their functionality and effectiveness.
