SUMMARY:
The client is looking for a hands-on, safety-focused Health & Safety Officer with industrial experience to drive compliance and safety culture in a growing plastic manufacturing company based in Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:
Roles and Responsibilities
We’re a growing manufacturing company focused on transforming plastic waste into high-quality materials for the construction and industrial sectors.
What you’ll do:

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Conduct risk assessments and investigate incidents
Drive a strong safety culture through training and awareness
Oversee machine and plant safety in a factory environment
Collaborate closely with operations and maintenance teams

What we’re looking for:

Health & Safety Diploma + SAMTRAC / HIRA
3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, construction, or similar industrial setting
Strong understanding of safety legislation and machinery risks
Confident communicator who can train, guide, and enforce safety standards

Nice to have:

Experience in plastics manufacturing or a related production environment
