POSITION INFO:
Join a leading player in South Africa’s food manufacturing sector, specialising in co-packing, blending, and packaging solutions for major food brands. This organisation runs a high-output facility where safety, hygiene, and compliance are critical to operations and long-term sustainability.

As the Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with OHS standards, implementing proactive safety measures, and driving safety awareness across the plant. You’ll also conduct risk assessments, coordinate audits, and work closely with operations to ensure a zero-harm culture.

Requirements:

National Diploma or Degree in Health & Safety Management or similar
SAMTRAC or NOSA certificate (advantageous)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
Solid knowledge of OHS Act, risk assessments & incident investigations
Strong communication, auditing and reporting skills
