POSITION INFO:

Overview

A respected financial services provider is looking for an experienced Acquisition Banker to join their growing team in Paarl. This role centres on acquiring and managing high-net-worth clients by offering customised financial solutions and delivering exceptional service.
You’ll be responsible for developing your own portfolio by identifying opportunities through networking, cold outreach, and referrals. The role includes advising clients across secured lending, forex, and broader banking needs, while connecting them with other specialised financial offerings as needed.
This is a relationship-led position ideal for someone who brings a confident and proactive approach to business development.

What we're looking for

Experience in a private banking, client relationship, or business development role
A professional and social network that can support acquisition efforts
Relevant finance qualification(s): BCom, CA(SA), CFP, or equivalent
Proven track record in sourcing, acquiring, and managing high-net-worth clients
Solid understanding of lending, banking products, and forex solutions
Confident, self-motivated, and capable of managing a client book with minimal supervision
