Home Loan Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Home Loan Specialist to join our sales team. This role focuses on actively sourcing new business, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored home finance solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting needs analyses, and guiding clients through the home loan application process while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Proactively source potential clients through various channels including estate agents, bond originators, and direct marketing
- Build and maintain a strong referral network
- Execute marketing initiatives such as mall activations, community events, corporate presentations, and social media campaigns
Client Needs Analysis
- Conduct detailed needs analysis using open-ended questioning techniques
- Assess client affordability and credit profiles
- Identify financial challenges and provide suitable solutions
- Maintain accurate records of leads and follow-ups
Solution Selling
- Match client needs with appropriate home loan products
- Clearly explain product offerings, processes, and credit criteria
- Guide clients through the application and documentation requirements
Deal Closure & Client Communication
- Explain final approval terms and conditions
- Ensure clients understand all aspects of the offer
- Maintain continuous communication throughout the process
- Follow up post-sale and generate referrals
Administration & Compliance
- Accurately capture and submit applications
- Compile and manage supporting documentation
- Ensure all files are complete and ready for processing
Minimum Requirements Education
Experience
- 2–3 years’ sales experience in a self-sourcing environment
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Exposure to marketing and client engagement
