SUMMARY:
To support line management in all Human Resources activities encompassing the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures of the company

POSITION INFO:

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provide input into the development of Human Resources policies and procedures in partnership with the Management.
  • Assist employees and line management in the planning and implementation of training and development interventions.
  • Perform the day to day Human Resources administration of company policy and procedures.
  • Attend to queries and follow up with the line managers and employees in line with the time frames as outlines in the HR SLA.
  • Provide line management with advice and support pertaining to the performance management process and ESS system.
  • Facilitate and coordinate any appeals lodged by staff members with the guidance from the ER department.
  • Provide line managers with advice and support pertaining to the acquisition of staff within the boundaries of the relevant policies, practices and procedures.
  • Assist with the compiling of a shortlist of potential candidates together with the line manager.
  • Conduct interviews and complete the necessary administration.
  • Prepare the required reports for approval and offers for prospective employees
  • Provide the support to employees and managers regarding the implementation of Industrial Relations practices and procedures.
  • Participate in engagement forums between line management and the Labour Union.
  • Perform Organisational Development studies when required and make recommendations to ensure effective service delivery. 
  • Implement Job Evaluation process with the assistance from the OD department.
  • Support the OD department with the implementation of all OD initiatives and processes. 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum

  • National Diploma in Human Resource Management NQF level 6 or related equivalent.
  • Driver''s license
  • VIP Payroll, Targeted Selection Recruitment methodology, Performance Management, IR, T and D, Job Evaluation and Grading
  • 3 Years’ experience

 

Ideal

  • Degree in Human Sciences or related equivalent
  • Training (On the job training should the present incumbent leave)
