Human Resources Manager - Meat Traders

SUMMARY:
Meat Traders Abattoir is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead the full HR function at our busy operation in Queenstown. You will be a hands‑on business partner to management, driving HR compliance, workforce planning and people development in a fast‑paced, blue‑collar environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key focus areas:

• Lead end‑to‑end HR: recruitment, onboarding, performance, IR/ER and exits.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour legislation, HR policies and HR reporting.
• Support line managers with disciplinary processes, investigations and CCMA preparation.
• Oversee payroll input, HR administration and accurate HR data and records.​
• Drive HR projects such as EE, training, talent development and engagement initiatives.​

• Relevant HR degree / diploma.
• 5+ years generalist HR experience, including strong IR/ER exposure.
• Experience in manufacturing/abattoir/food or similar industrial environment advantageous.​
• Confident, resilient and able to work independently with staff at all levels.
