POSITION INFO:
Minimum qualification and experience:

- Matric
- HR Degree/Diploma preferable
- 5 Years’ experience in a similar role

Soft Skills:

- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical and detail orientated
- Must be able to handle pressure and have exemplary time management skills.
- Must be able to work independently
- Excellent organizational skills

Main Duties/Key Results Areas:

Recruitment
- Create and place job adverts on various recruitment platforms - Assist managers with preparing job description for advertisement
- Review applications received and process accordingly
- Conduct initial interview with shortlisted candidates
- Internal staff referrals and other internal sourcing
- Schedule and coordinate interviews in line with Recruiting manager requirements and provide guidance and support to managers
- Design, review and update interview packs, ensuring that all panel members have interview packs before interview is due to take place
- Provide concise, timeous feedback to all applicants and recruitment agencies
- Maintain a meticulous and updated employee and recruitment filing system
- Liaise with new starters and ensure a seamless induction and on-boarding process
- Conduct Criminal, Credit and all pre-requisite background checks
- Draft offer letters and new starter documentation
- Liaise with line manager regarding start date and induction

HR Duties
- Time and attendance management
- Recording of leave forms on payroll and balancing of leave files
- Employee file audits
- Processing of Recruitment invoices
- Coordinate stock take at cold store
- General HR Administrative duties
- COVID reporting and claims
- Liaise with Health and Safety representative on all Covid related matters
- Processing of IOD claims
- Tasks to be added from time to time, commensurate within the scope of the HR Officer position
- All and any other related duties as expected by the employer from time to time.
