JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive Industry has an EE opportunity available for an Human Resources Officer to be based in the Benoni, Johannesburg area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Minimum 3 Year National Diploma in Labour Relations or Human Resources (NQF Level 6)
Minimum 4 – 6 years Manufacturing Industry relevant practical experience
Working knowledge of Dispute Resolution framework in a Unionized environment
Working experience as a Generalist in Human Resources
Valid Drivers’ licence and ability to travel between Plants.
Strong understanding of Labour Legislation and fostering of Compliance by all Parties
MS Office proficiency, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
AccSys / VIP / SAGE
SAP or similar HR Systems experience ideal but not absolute requirement

KPAs:

Provide advice and guidance to Line Management on all Industrial Relations matters
Pro-active approach in dealing with IR matters on the shop-floor
Manage absenteeism, follow Trends and implement improvement strategies
Ensure that employee benefits are fairly and equitably implemented
Ensure that Human Resources programmes and administration are well organised, up-to-date
Ensure all employee benefits and relevant administration are adequately addressed, carried and processed with the relevant Funds/Schemes.
