• Strong experience in the Hydrogen space
• Industry-specific knowledge on hydrogen use cases, value chains, and commercialisation pathways
• Integration of hydrogen production with existing industrial or energy infrastructure
• Familiarity with hydrogen and its derivatives
• experience in South Africa or Southern Africa is required

Technical expertise in

• Hydrogen production and storage: experience with various production methods including electrolysis and steam methane reforming as well as storage solutions for hydrogen
• Pipeline infrastructure: knowledge of pipeline design, materials and construction, particularly for hydrogen transportation
• Hydrogen derivatives familiarity with ammonia, methanol, and other hydrogen-based products

Market and economic analysis

• Market trends and forecast: good understanding of market dynamics, growth, and identify opportunities in the hydrogen sector
• Economic feasibility studies: experience in assessing project viability and developing business cases for hydrogen projects
• Investment and funding: knowledge of funding sources investment strategies and risk management for hydrogen projects

Regulatory and policy frameworks

• Understanding of existing and emerging regulation, policies and standards governing hydrogen projects
