IAM Specialist

SUMMARY:
Role Overview:

• The IAM Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management solutions across the enterprise
• This role ensures secure, compliant, and efficient access to systems while supporting digital transformation initiatives

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and enforce role-based and attribute-based access control models
• Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and lifecycle management across enterprise applications
• Implement segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance controls
• Support single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) across systems
• Conduct regular audits of user access and roles to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Collaborate with audit, risk and governance teams to remediate findings
• Provide support for IAM-related incidents and requests
• Develop and maintain documentation, including procedures and training materials
• Monitor emerging IAM technologies and recommend enhancements
• Drive automation initiatives for identity lifecycle management

• BSc Honours in Information Technology or similar
• 5+ years of experience in IAM roles
• Strong knowledge of IAM platforms
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks
• Hands-on experience with SSO, MFA

• Experience with cloud IAM in hybrid environments
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA cloud, public edition advantageous
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) controls and mitigation is highly relevant
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Deep understanding of IAM principles and technologies
• Ability to balance business needs with compliance and security requirements
• Strong cross-functional teamwork with IT, audit, and business units
• Comfortable working in dynamic, cloud-first environments
