SUMMARY:
Our client who is a leading provider of Business Performance Management solutions is urgently looking for an experienced IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Consultant to join their dynamic team

POSITION INFO:

Location: Bedfordview, Gauteng

Requirements:

A minimum 3-year tertiary qualification from an accredited university, either in Commerce or Computer Sciences or Industrial Engineering;
A minimum 1st-year tertiary level in information systems or computer science;
A minimum of 1st-year tertiary level in accounting;
2+ years’ experience and understanding of SQL fundamentals and ability to write complex SQL queries;
2+ years’ experience in MS Excel and VBA;
Excellent technical skills;
Excellent problem-solving abilities;
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in building TM1 models;
Experience in dealing with customers;
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients at all levels of the organization;
Strong understanding of the fundamentals of financial accounting;
Strong understanding of systems design and implementation;
Demonstrable understanding of SQL fundamentals and ability to write complex SQL queries;
Demonstrable programming skills;
Good, demonstrable general computing knowledge, including basic troubleshooting capability on the Microsoft Windows platform, an understanding of networking fundamentals, and familiarity with application installation and support.

Responsibilities:

Engaging with clients and understanding client requirements;
Documenting business requirements, functional specifications and technical specifications;
Building TM1 cubes, dimensions, and rules and setting up ETL processes;
Designing and developing input templates and reports using Excel and VBA;
Designing and developing management reports, dashboards, and scorecards;
Designing and developing financial budgeting and forecasting systems;
Client training, ongoing maintenance, and support.
