ICT Manager

SUMMARY:
A six (6) month contract Johannesburg for a strong candidate to to take charge of the IT Department: • A bachelor’s degree in computer science • At least 5 years’ experience as ICT Manager • At least 3 years’ relevant Government or statutory experience

POSITION INFO:

• Develop and update ICT Policies and Procedures
• Monitor Compliance to Policies
• ICT infrastructure and applications development and support management
• Monitor, review and recommend an inventory and system performance for effective risk management and business continuity, including maintenance, updating the system, improvement and problem resolution
• Ensures appropriate risk mitigation measures, including ergo
• Develop and implement an integration Enterprise Architecture and Master System Plan
• Evaluate ICT frameworks and systems to ensure the optimal and strategic use of information technology and resources, enhancing performance and integration
• Provide managerial and specialized technical guidance and oversight for the effective, equitable and efficient operations of the organisation''s integrated ICT systems
• Develop and implement effective Documentation Management framework, system and process
• Ensure the effective management of databases, security of data and the establishment and management of data recovery site
