SUMMARY:
A six (6) month contract Johannesburg for a strong candidate to to take charge of the IT Department: â€¢ A bachelorâ€™s degree in computer science â€¢ At least 5 yearsâ€™ experience as ICT Manager â€¢ At least 3 yearsâ€™ relevant Government or statutory experience

POSITION INFO:

Develop and update ICT Policies and Procedures
Monitor Compliance to Policies
ICT infrastructure and applications development and support management
Monitor, review and recommend an inventory and system performance for effective risk management and business continuity, including maintenance, updating the system, improvement and problem resolution
Ensures appropriate risk mitigation measures, including ergo
Develop and implement an integration Enterprise Architecture and Master System Plan
Evaluate ICT frameworks and systems to ensure the optimal and strategic use of information technology and resources, enhancing performance and integration
Provide managerial and specialized technical guidance and oversight for the effective, equitable and efficient operations of the organisation''s integrated ICT systems
Develop and implement effective Documentation Management framework, system and process
Ensure the effective management of databases, security of data and the establishment and management of data recovery site
