JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an ICT Operations Manager for our client based in Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for:

Leading and monitor team productivity and address issues as they arise to ensure maximum efficiency and consistent service experiences.
Ensure controls and access management procedures are adhered to.
Management of ICT assets to ensure required stock is available and ICT assets are managed cost effectively.
Financial management including budgeting and accounting.
Closely monitor staff interventions supportively, to ensure standards are maintained and risks are kept at bay.
Ensure approved processes and policies are understood and adhered to.
Document all processes and procedures to ensure consistency and repeatable success.
Update of Standard Operating Procedures to be in line with work instructions.
Strategic planning to ensure the ICT Services support and Operations unit is aligned with future business requirements whilst up to date with the latest technologies.
Maintain the ICT Service catalogue.
Oversee and guide technical service delivery.
Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via Service Desk.
Ensure ICT Incidents are dealt with accordingly via a well define and measured Incident Management process.
Ensure business and user requests are fulfilled within SLA via a well define Request fulfilment process.
Communication and reporting to internal and external stakeholders on performance of ICT Service Delivery.
Establish a development plan to grow ICT Service Operations staff.
Management reporting, handling escalations, staff, customer and management concerns, requests, issues, and enquiries.
Continuously monitor metrics and leverage customer feedback to drive continuous improvement of service practices.
Work very close with the CIO in linking and monitoring that all ICT operation are still in line with the ICT digital strategy to realise the companys mandate.
