The Network Administrator & Information Security officer reports to the IS Manager and BOM and manages and provides hardware and software maintenance and/or practices as per KP A''s, as well as substantial information security practices.

Novell Support: Monitor Mail usage on Group Wise and Research in maintaining and improving Novell and Group Wise servers

Adhoc Training: Windows related Adhoc training of users and on job training of IT contract workers and/or new employees

Adherence and Compliance to OH&S Act No.85 of 1993

Adherence and compliance to regulations as stipulated in the OH&S Act No.85 of 1993 to secure the health, safety and welfare of himself/herself and/or

employees and other people/visitors at work

Environmental

•             Effective storage of used cartridges

•             Arrangement with approved vendor to collect cartridges

•             Delivery of the received invoice from vendor to PA of COO

•             Store of Unserviceable IT Hardware in back-up server room

•             Formatting/cleaning of related Unserviceable IT Hardware

•             Arrangement with Environmental Officer for collection of Unserviceable IT Hardware

Adherence and Compliance to all audit regimes such as ISO, IATF, LWG, POP/A, etc.

•             Ensure adherence, compliance, and alignment to practices and/or requirements as depicted in the various audit regimes such as but not limited to ISO, IATF, LWG & POPIA

•             Prepare and submit when required various technical IT documentation and/or proof during audits and/or investigations

•             Attending audits when required

Information Security

•             To provide management with direction and support for information security in accordance with business requirements and relevant laws and regulations

•             Develop and implement applicable policies and procedures as per ISO27000 and VDA requirements

•             Meet with managers and/or other role players to discuss, implement and sustain information security requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines

•             Train and advise managers, users and/or other role players as required and/or deemed necessary

•             Support managers, users and/or other role players on request in the management and adherence to information security

•             Monitor and maintain information security best practices, perform internal audits with actions plans as required

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

•             Computer literacy (MS Office Suite & SAP Basic Knowledge),

•             Troubleshooting skills, Communication skills, Analytical Skills,

•             5 Year experience in a similar position.

•             Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure

•             Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices

•             Sound knowledge of information security practices

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•             Valid driver''s licence

•             High degree of Assertiveness

•             Team Player

•             Recognised & Related Degree or Diploma in IT/IS Environment

•             Willingness to respond to emergency calls, work overtime and/or weekends when required and to perform stand-by duties when required
