POSITION INFO:
A leading platinum mining company is seeking a Head of IT and Digital Information to join its EXCO and lead the organisation's digital and smart-mining transformation. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned IT executive to shape enterprise strategy, governance, and technology innovation across a capital-intensive, operationally complex environment. What you'll lead: ð¹ Enterprise-wide IT governance (King IV\/V, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001) ð¹ Smart mining transformation - AI, IIoT, OT\/SCADA integration, and big data ð¹ Major systems leadership, including SAP and enterprise architecture ð¹ Cybersecurity strategy and information asset protection ð¹ Multi-million-rand CAPEX\/OPEX budgets and strategic vendor partnerships ð¹ Board-level reporting and EXCO participation What you bring: â Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field + MBA\/MSc or equivalent â CISM, CISSP, CRISC, COBIT, or TOGAF certification â 12-15 years' progressive IT experience, including 5+ years at Senior Management\/Executive level â Proven experience in mining, heavy industry, or capital-intensive sectors â Deep knowledge of OT\/IT convergence and operational technology in industrial settings Location: Rustenberg, South Africa Type: Permanent, Executive-level If you're a strategic technology leader ready to drive digital transformation at the executive table, this could be your next move. ð© Interested candidates can apply directly or send an email with your CV -
