INTERNAL TECHNICAL SALES EXECUTIVE

SUMMARY:
Our Client is looking for a commercially driven Internal Technical Sales Executive to join their team. The successful candidate must be a proactive sales professional with strong technical sales ability and ideally experienced in fluid management, lubrication, fuel transfer, hose reels, pumps or related industrial product sectors, responsible for driving revenue growth, developing existing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and providing technical product support to customers

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12) – essential
• Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics – advantageous
• Training or certification in ERP systems (e.g. Acumatica) or inventory management – beneficial

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in internal sales, technical sales, or business development
• Proven track record of growing sales and converting opportunities
• Experience in industrial / technical product sales
• Strong commercial awareness and customer engagement skills
• Ability to understand technical products and customer applications
• ERP / CRM experience advantageous
• Strong communication and follow-up discipline
• Experience in fluid management equipment, lubrication systems, hose reels, fuel transfer systems, pumps, dispensing or metering equipment, workshop equipment or industrial distribution would be highly advantageous

• Drive sales growth across existing and dormant customer accounts
• Proactively follow up quotations, enquiries, and sales opportunities
• Convert opportunities into profitable sales
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Build strong customer relationships through consistent engagement
• Advise customers on suitable product solutions and applications
• Prepare quotations and manage opportunities through to order confirmation
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements
• Monitor competitor activity and identify market opportunities
