Objective of the Role:

Responsible to partner with Business and Leadership to manage and direct all IT Resources to achieve the Company Strategic Objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

Business Relationship

• Develop, manage, and enhance relationships with key business/ function stakeholders, actively manage their expectations and satisfaction.
• Represent business/ function ambitions, requirements, and expectations on IT towards the IT organisation and represent IT on business/ function level.
• Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services.
• Ensure sufficient and coherent IT communication towards the business/ functions.

Strategy/ Innovation

• Align IT Strategy and Budget in coordination and alignment with Business / Function ambitions.
• Support strategic and innovative thinking in the business through clear articulation of IT capabilities and proactive value propositions.
• Use system and process knowledge to provide (business process) harmonization opportunities and proposals to business counterparts.
• Ensure coherence in strategic development of IT in line with agreed Enterprise Architecture.
• Portfolio and lifecycle management of local applications.

Initiative Portfolio Management

• Ensure that IT demand is understood, and where agreed, captured and prioritized in IPM.
• Ensure all IT demand is assessed; aligned with business strategy and architecture; quantified and checked for feasibility.
• Help to identify IT demand conflicts, recommending escalation where appropriate for resolution.
• Develop high quality business requirements to ensure proper estimation of cost, time and resources can be done.
• Perform project scoping assessments to determine feasibility of initiatives and drive IPM decision making.
• Develop project estimates & complete financial model (costs, savings, revenue opportunities, investment horizon)

Internal Alignment

• Partner with IT supply to get to high level solution architectures for initiatives.
• Partner with IT supply on delivery of services and projects, ensure performance at agreed levels and take actions where needed.

Service Development/ Operations

• Monitor organisational readiness and supervise adequate timing of change deployment in organisation.
• Ensure knowledge network in Business is properly set-up and functioning.

Performance Management

• Manage, track and report on IT Budget and realization.
• Local vendor, contract, and asset management.

Requirements

• Prior Vendor management experience
• Prior experience working in an international environment with virtual teams (countries)
• Management Experience
• Experience in Backup and Recovery
• Networking Technologies (CISCO Technologies, Firewalls, Routing)
• Working knowledge of Data Center Management and IP Telephony
• Minimum 7 years’ in a similar position
