IT Architect- Business and Data

SUMMARY:
The role of IT Architect - Business and Data is responsible for the strategic business transformation within Company and overseeing critical deliverables, such as business capability models, business capabilities, and value streams.

POSITION INFO:

Key Performance Areas

Business Architecture Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with the Head of Enterprise Architecture (EA) to establish governance, focusing on business architecture.
• Develop and monitor the Business Architecture Vision, Capability Model, Business Process Modelling, and Value Streams for Company.
• Ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Business Architecture Blueprint & Roadmap:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and architects (applications, technology, security) to select reference models and create baseline and target business architecture descriptions.
• Perform gap analysis and develop a roadmap aligned with Company’s strategic objectives.

Businiss Architecture Governance:

• Manage activities to develop, maintain, and govern business architecture.
• Ensure architecture goals are met and assess best practices to improve business frameworks and data quality management.

Data Architecture Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement the Data Architecture Vision and Principles.
• Collaborate with other IT divisions to create data management practices and ensure data architecture goals are achieved.

Data Architecture Blueprint & Roadmap:

• Consult with stakeholders to develop an Enterprise Data Model, data flows, integration patterns, and master data management architecture.
• Conduct gap analysis and participate in creating a Data Warehouse, Data Mart, or Data Lake roadmap.

Opportunities and Implementation Planning:

• Identify business and data change opportunities and constraints.
• Perform gap analysis, refine architecture dependencies, and create implementation and migration plans for business and data transformation.

Stakeholder Engagement & Management:

• Develop a stakeholder engagement strategy, map stakeholders by influence, and manage expectations.
• Maximize opportunities, mitigate risks, and improve stakeholder relationships to support architecture goals.
