This organisation is  focused on unlocking the power of science and technology in the modern life and living.

Their main product offerings are within the mining, water scarcity, food security and green chemistry. They have a footprint in over 20 countries with room to grow within the brand.

The purpose of the role:

The IT Audit manager is responsible to ensure the proper execution of the risk based IT audit plan.

Manage the IT Audit plan outsourced to (1 of the big 4 Adit firms) Internal Audit.

Prepare annual IT audit plan,audit reports & electronic audit files (working papers).

Qualification and Non-negotiable requirements:

B Com Hons (Accounting / Informatics) or NQF equivalent.

CISA

CIA will be an advantage.

Minimum 6 years Internal audit experience (preferably in the manufacturing / mining sector, preferably mostly IT audit experience).

Minimum 4 years IT Audit Management experience.

Main duties:

IT Governance 

IT Audit Management

Performance of ad hoc audit assignments.

External audit liaison

Quality assurance of  Internal Audit output

Audit reports & electronic audit files (working papers)

Prepare annual IT audit plan

Manage the IT Audit plan outsourced
