IT Audit Manager

SUMMARY:
Our prestigious client in the Petroleum Industry has an opportunity available for an IT Audit Manager in the Cape Town area. This will be a contract position for 12 months

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

• NQF Level 7 (Degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science or related)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• 8 years experience in IT Audit Management
• People management experience
• Postgrad qualification in IS/ Computer Science will be advantageous
• Relevant IT governance, risk, control, and cyber security certifications will be advantageous
• 3 years’ experience managing project implementation of Robotics/ Artificial Intelligence Assurance will be advantageous
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally
• IIA and ISACA (Advantageous)

• Manage the planning, execution or delivery and reporting of IT and digital audit projects per Board Approved Annual Audit Plan through the development of audit scope and planning, risk and controls identification and testing, and ensuring high audit engagement quality of deliverables and audit reporting
• Manage the delivery of monthly and quarterly data analytics for follow up and reporting to the MARCC / BARCC
• Manage the design, development and implementation of data analytics, robotics, and artificial intelligence projects/ initiatives to drive digital assurance enablement, automation, data driven insights and value to our internal customers
• Review system licensing and ensure optimisation of user licenses to drive effective cost management
• Manage relevant internal audit vendors service delivery for systems, audit, and other services delivery through ensuring good contract and vendor management, monitoring and compliance
• IT Internal Audit Consulting & Independent Advisory Services (IT Projects)
• Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with the government authorities, business and management institutions, national and key industry players, and service providers to keep abreast with latest development to capture new business opportunities.
• Communicate, interpret and champion the execution of the Company''s policies and provisions of the Codes of Conduct & Business Ethics (COBE), Protection of Personal Information (POPI) and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), and undertake appropriate mitigation and/or intervention programmes to safeguard business operations, high staff discipline and industrial harmony.
