Duties:

• Collaborate with the internal audit team to identify areas where data analytics can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of audit processes.
• Design and develop data analytics programs and scripts to extract, transform, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources.
• Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial and operational data.
• Conduct complex data analysis to support audit planning, scoping, and risk assessment.
• Automate audit procedures and develop data-driven audit testing methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis findings to help drive business decision-making and process improvements.
• Stay up to date with emerging data analytics tools, techniques, and industry best practices to continuously enhance the data analytics capabilities of the internal audit function.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, or similar is preferred.

• 5– 7 proven experience in IT audit, data analytics, or a related field, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong technical skills in data analytics tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Power BI.
• Experience in working with large datasets, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of auditing principles, IT governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
