Job Title: IT Business Manager \/ IT Operations Manager Industry: Digital Media \/ Entertainment Licensing Job Type: Full-Time About Our Client Our client is an internationally operating organization within the digital media and entertainment space, specializing in digital licensing for music and VOD streaming. They are seeking a proactive and technically sound IT Business Manager to oversee all aspects of their technology infrastructure and operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a problem-solver with a passion for the Cultural Creative Industry (CCI) to make a global impact. The Role As the IT Business Manager, you will provide strategic IT guidance to executive leadership while taking hands-on responsibility for vendor management, proprietary systems, and IT security. You will also play a pivotal role in representing the organization within key international industry forums. Key Responsibilities Vendor & Infrastructure Management: Oversee relationships with external IT service providers, including back-office processing and data storage partners. You will negotiate contracts, monitor SLAs, and act as the primary technical liaison. Database & Software Optimization: Manage the organization's proprietary database, collaborate with external development teams to ensure optimal performance, and implement software upgrades to support business growth. Ensure all systems are patched and updated. IT Security & Data Integrity: Implement and manage comprehensive IT security policies, conduct regular vulnerability audits, and maintain a robust disaster recovery plan to protect internal data storage. Industry Standards & Royalty Processing: Collaborate with providers to ensure strict adherence to CISAC rules for royalty distribution and statement generation. You will also represent the organization regarding DDEX data processes and reporting standards. Project Leadership: Lead IT projects from conception to completion, including infrastructure upgrades and system integrations, while resolving day-to-day IT issues. Advise leadership on necessary technology investments. Minimum Qualifications & Experience Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in IT management, preferably gained within the digital media, music, or entertainment industries. Experience working with external development teams and third-party vendors is required. Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge covering database management, network administration, and IT security best practices. Excellent programming and project management skills. Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of intellectual property rights and digital licensing. Familiarity with streaming, as well as DDEX and CISAC standards, will be a strong advantage. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
